<title>Health Information Privacy Code 1994, incorporating amendments and including revised commentary </title>
			<link>http://privacy.org.nz/health-information-privacy-code-1994-incorporating-amendments-and-including-revised-commentary/</link>
<description>This code of practice applies specific rules to agencies in the health sector to better ensure the protection of individual privacy. With respect to “health information” collected, used, held and disclosed by “health agencies”, the code substitutes for the information privacy principles in the Privacy Act. It also deals with access to health information and the assignment of unique identifiers.  The code has been revised and a 2008 edition incorporating amendments and a revised commentary is now available.</description>
