Identity Conference 2012 and Privacy Forum - registrations now open

There will be two major privacy-related conferences in Wellington during next year's Privacy Awareness Week. Registrations are now open for both - get in early to get the cheapest possible deals!

PRIVACY FORUM

Our own Privacy Forum is on 2 May at the Intercontinental, Grey Street, Wellington.  View our draft programme.

Topics include:

  • cloud computing
  • news media and new media
  • online tracking technologies
  • regional shared healthcare and the proposed new government information sharing framework.

Several of the Identity Conference's keynote speakers - including Dr Borking, Mr Crompton and Professor Raab - will also be speaking at the Privacy Forum (on different topics from the ones they covered earlier in the week).

We're offering a special price of $200 for people who are also registered for the Identity Conference. For those who just want to come to the Privacy Forum, early bird registration is $250 (before 1 March) and full registration is $300. You're welcome to register now - just fill in this form and send it to us at forum@privacy.org.nz

IDENTITY CONFERENCE

The Identity Conference "Managing Digital Identity in a Networked World" is on 30 April and 1 May at Te Papa Tongarewa. It is jointly organised by Victoria University of Wellington, the Department of Internal Affairs, and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
