Requests

Who can make a request?
You can make a request for access to information about you or correction of information about you if you are an individual.

You do not have to be a citizen or permanent resident, or be in New Zealand. If a New Zealand agency has information about you, you can make a request to access it.

Who may make requests

An information privacy request may be made only by an individual who is -
(a) A New Zealand citizen; or
(b) A permanent resident of New Zealand; or
(c) An individual who is in New Zealand.
