Can I make an urgent request?
If you need personal information urgently, you can make a request for urgency, but you must explain to the agency why you believe you need a response urgently.
The agency will have to take this in to account when it provides a decision, and when it releases the information (if this isn’t at the same time).
If the agency fails to respond urgently when there was a good reason to, this may be also considered to be an undue delay, which is something you can make a complaint to us about.
