What if a credit reporter refuses to freeze my credit information?

If the credit reporter does not accept you are at risk of fraud, they can refuse to suppress your information. They can also lift suppression at any time if they become aware of evidence that you lied about being at risk.

But if they refuse to continue suppression, or lift your suppression at any point, they must tell you this and let you know that you have the right to make a complaint to our office about their decision.
