The Office of the Privacy Commissioner (OPC) and the Independent Police Conduct Authority (IPCA) are conducting an inquiry into New Zealand Police’s conduct, practice, policies and procedures relating to the photographing of members of the New Zealand public who are not being detained or are not suspected of committing an offence.
