Upgrade older web browsers to access our website

As part of the New Zealand Government's aim to strengthen the security of its websites, our hosting provider is changing a configuration to ensure that our website, and the data hosted on it, stays secure. This means anyone using old browsers may not be able to access our website from 7 June onwards.

We recommend either upgrading your browser or installing an alternative browser on your computer or mobile device. Here is a list of affected browsers that need an upgrade or alternative browser installed:

  • IE7 and below
  • Firefox 22 and below
  • Chrome 21 and below
  • Safari 6 and below for OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) and below

Mobile

  • IE10 and below
  • Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) and below
  • Mobile Safari for iOS 4 and below
  • Chrome 21 and below
