Privacy Forum 2021

This half-day event was held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Wellington on Friday 14 May 2021.

The final programme for the Privacy Forum is now available here. The programme includes:

  • A keynote presentation by the Privacy Commissioner on the first six months of the Privacy Act 2020.
  • Discussion about the key changes in the Act and the new enforcement and compliance directions for our office.
  • Panel discussions on privacy practices in the rental sector and privacy issues associated with the Covid-19 pandemic.
     

PrivacyLive forum - Auckland

A PrivacyLive forum in Auckland on Monday 10 May 2021 was moderated by the Privacy Commissioner. The topic of the PrivacyLive forum was The Privacy Act 2020: Six months on, with guest panellists Rick Shera of Lowndes Jordan, Sarah Auvaa of Spark and Sarah Thompson of Air New Zealand.
