Can I ask an agency for personal information about me that it might create in the future?
No. You have the right to request access to your personal information that is held by an agency at the time of your request (privacy principle 6). You do not have a right to future-date access requests or to make a standing request for information that might be created in the future.
If you want to check what new personal information is held about you, you will need to make another request. You should allow a reasonable amount of time before making a repeat request. However, if you have a good reason for making a repeat request, you should consider telling the agency concerned so that they understand the reason for your repeat request.
